Sean K. McQuaid

Sean McQuaid is a Shareholder with the firm practicing in the areas of criminal defense and general civil litigation.

Mr. McQuaid's criminal practice involves representation of defendants charged with serious crimes in State and Federal courts at the trial stage and in post-conviction motions, appeals, record sealing and expungement.

His civil practice also covers a wide range of areas. Mr.McQuaid handles general civil litigation, commercial litigation, contract litigation and trust and probate litigation.

Mr. McQuaid is a member of the Florida Bar,the Bar of the Federal District Court for the Middle District of Florida and the St.Petersburg Bar Association.

In August 2010, Governor Charlie Crist appointed Mr.McQuaid to the Judicial Nominating Commission for the Sixth Judicial Circuit. The term of his appointment began on August 20, 2010 and will end on July 1, 2014. Mr.McQuaid also serves on the Executive Committee as Board Development Chair of the Advisory Board for the Suncoast Chapter of the Make a Wish Foundation. He is the current President of the Harbor Isle Homeowners' Association, a member of the St. Petersburg Sports Alliance and remains extremely active in the Community.

Mr. McQuaid has been a resident of St. Peterburg since August of 1997 when he began his legal studies at Stetson University College of Law. During law school he was a member of the Moot Court Board from 1998 through 2000. He joined the firm in August of 2000.

While at Princeton University, Mr.McQuaid was a four (4) year varsity letterman, captain of the Princeton Baseball Team and a member of Kappa Alpha Order.
